left my heart in denver.

This is the view from our room on the 16th floor, 2 blocks from the start line.
Jazzed for Colorado, headed to the Expo for packet pick-up!
Slightly excited. Just slightly.
It's becoming more and more official by the minute!
Later, we met up with the fabulous Heather. She is one of my best friends from college and lives in Denver now!
This is the most random group of friends. John Lee on the far left is my brother's best friend from college and that's his rommate Greg. Then there's me, Heather, Lynn and two of Lynn's longtime friends who also live in Denver. We had hilarious fun...
6:30 a.m. - 30 minutes till the gun!
So many people!
Here is Lynn receiving her medal just after we finished!
And mine too!
Here is my 4th 1/2 marathon medal. I have one full marathon medal, but that's in a frame.

John invited us out for a relaxing day at the lake, it was the PERFECT afternoon!!
John and his friend Jeff are geologists... and apparently have jokes for those who are not.
Super challenge.
What a ray of sunshine!
Final day in Denver, good morning Rockies!
Since we were too sore to do a rigorous hike, Heather drove us to an amazing look out point...

More to come later!!

Wow, just beautiful. We have never been to CO and were just talking last week about going someday. Of course, after the hospital stay, we all joked that it was like the most expensive vacation we will ever take !! I've never really seen snow though, so I'd love to go to CO or somewhere like it.
